We had the privilege of constructing the North Carolina Board of Nurses Administrative office as well as the Capitol Ear Nose & Throat medical office using sustainable methods and materials. The North Carolina Board of Nursing facility has qualified to earn the EPA’s Energy Star recognition. We used low flow fixtures and other materials to conserve water and energy use resulting in a superior sustainable project.
Work was performed carefully on both sides of a Neuse River Riparian Buffer and tree conservation area, to maintain a minimal footprint on our surrounding environment. Sitework for the project included significant grading to convert 4.5 acres of a steep valley into 2 separate building pads and parking area.
