Danielle joined McDonald York in 2016 and brought with her 15 years of construction experience. In 2001 she graduated from The Catholic University of America's School of Architecture and Planning and in 2003 she graduated from The University of Massachusetts with a Masters in Regional Planning. It was there that she developed a passion for the strengthening and transformation of cities. Her favorite thing about what she does is seeing a plan through to fruition. When she sees an open space, she sees the possibilities. To Danielle, it's about building a level of trust with her clients that gives them the confidence that she will deliver to them the space that they had envisioned. When she isn't pursuing her passion at work, family time comes first. She spends weekends with them at the State Farmer's Market and City Market. She's also an avid marathon runner, a health and wellness supporter, and a design junkie. As far as her involvement in the community, Danielle excels in leadership and commitment. Just to name a few of her achievements, she serves as the communication lead for the Triangle Commercial Real Estate Women (TCREW) Champion Awards Committee, she is a member of the Board of Directors for the Raleigh Chapter of Nation Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), and a coach for the Triangle Chapter of Girls on the Run.
