Tom brings 35 years of construction experience to McDonald York. Originally from Ronkonkoma, New York, Tom grew up on a 7 acre family-owned nursery. He remembers working as a young child through his early twenties from ‘dawn to setting sun’ as his father used to say. His family later bought a 76 acre nursery so Tom is no stranger to hard work. His favorite part of growing up on Long Island was being by the ocean. He has fond memories of swimming at the beach with his five siblings. Tom later graduated from SUNY Farmingdale on Long Island with a degree in Applied Science. Tom not only builds physical structures but more importantly, he strives to build strong customer relationships. In each job, his goal is to "deliver a quality product that exceeds the owner's expectations." After joining McDonald York in 2016, Tom continues to stand proudly with his colleagues as a member of a cohesive, supportive team. On his time off, Tom enjoys working around the yard, keeping busy with honey-do lists, running at Lake Johnson, and most of all, spending time with his family.
